Welcome to the Jungle

Day 5 in Costa Rica and I'm finding my tribe among the traveler community. It's ironic how at home you can feel among transient humans, when you're comfortable with change.

I snorkeled and swam in tide pools with a group of English girls. I prepared food and watched the sunset with a band of surfer bros. Every day a new group of friends. We touch hearts, we connect souls, and then we carry on.

This week alone I've hitchhiked for the first time, jumped off waterfall cliffs, drove an ATV through jungle mountain roads, hiked canopy trails, found peace in international cafés and been invited to travel all over with familiar strangers.

When asked how long I'll be on the road my answer so far has been "indefinitely," but my vision is to grow roots wherever I wander. I want to be inside of the places I go, penetrate local cultures and sink into new parts of myself along the way.

I feel like a part of the world in motion. It's exhilarating, exhausting and super surreal.
